I just finished up a pretty good book. It was called, “The Millionaire Mind” by Thomas J. Stanley.
If you have read this blog over the past few months, you know that I have really gotten into reading. I mean, I have read for years, but I have only recently gotten into reading something with a purpose. I guess that purpose is to see what “the other half” is doing. More accurately speaking, they are only a small fraction of the country…the millionaires that is.
A while back, I wrote about a book that I had just finished reading. It was called, “The Millionaire Next Door” by the same author. I think that was Dr. Stanley’s claim to fame. The book was very enlightening and I learned a whole heck of a lot from it.
The Millionaire Mind is (as you might have guessed) a very similar book. The main difference is that the author goes into much greater detail on each topic than he did in the previous book. At times I wondered how he managed to write so many pages on such a similar topic, but he did it with ease. It was a fairly quick and entertaining read. If you like this kind of stuff.
What’s the bottom line? It’s quite simple. If you want to figure out what you are doing wrong or if you want to know how the more well-off actually live, you might want to pick this book up. It provides a lot of answers.
